When a craving for chocolate kicks in, this recipe will make you feel powerful and will fill you with energy. The base is made by mixing raw cacao powder into coconut oil, which hardens when chilled. Chocolates will keep for many weeks in the fridge or freezer.

1) Place the coconut oil in a mixing bowl and whisk in the rest of the ingredients until smooth.
2) Pour this into molds and let it harden. Or add ½ cup of dried fruit, nuts or seeds, spread onto a sheet tray lined with waxed paper and put in fridge for 5 minutes, then break into pieces.
Chef’s note: You can also use the sauce to top fruit salads, pancakes, ice cream or dip favorite fruits in. You can also experiment by adding maca powder, vanilla or cinnamon. Most of these super foods are available at health food stores.
